Do You Like to Sing, Sing, Sing?

As mentioned on our home page, we are an open access community choir for anyone who enjoys singing. We do not hold auditions - you can just come along and give it a try, and we won't expect you to be able to read music or have any previous experience!

Some comments made during the well being day October 2018

"Singing is great for the soul. It’s a great thing to do as a group and a place to meet super friends."

"Singing makes you feel so much better, helps you to breathe and you leave with a smile"

"The world takes a back seat when singing. It is fun and a break from stress."

"Singing is wonderful for building confidence. It makes me happy to belong to such a supportive and friendly group."

"Singing new songs helps to keep your brain active!"

The choir meets every Thursday in school term-time, 7.20pm - 8:45pm, in St. John's Church, Axbridge Square. Occasional extra rehearsals may be held for the different parts of the choir in the run up to performances.

Members pay a £12 subscription every six months (April and September).

All members are warmly invited to come for a drink at the Lamb Inn in the Square after reheasals, and the choir also arranges occasional social get-togethers.

If you love singing, or think you might just like to try it, do come and join us - new members are always welcome.
